Department of Defense Tuberous Sclerosis Complex Research Program
Anticipated Funding Opportunities for Fiscal Year 2011 (FY11)

The Department of Defense Tuberous Sclerosis Complex Research Program (TSCRP) is administered by the US Army Medical Research and Materiel Command through the Office of Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs (CDMRP).

Congressional funds for the Fiscal Year 2011 (FY11) TSCRP have NOT yet been appropriated. The TSCRP anticipates offering the following award mechanisms for FY11 pending availability of congressional funds. This pre-announcement should not be construed as an obligation by the government.

  • Career Transition Award
    Supports TSC researchers during the transition from postdoctoral training to independent positions
  • Clinical Trial Award
    Supports Phase 0, 1, and 2 clinical trials for TSC
  • Exploration - Hypothesis Development Award
    Supports the initial exploration of innovative, untested research, and to pursue serendipitous observations
  • Idea Development Award
    Encourages high impact, innovative research that will drive the TSC research field forward
