Department of Defense Breast Cancer Research Program Funding Opportunities for Fiscal Year 2005
The Fiscal Year 2005 (FY05) Defense Appropriations Act provides $150 million to the Department of Defense Breast Cancer Research Program (BCRP). This program is administered by the US Army Medical Research and Materiel Command through the Office of the Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs (CDMRP).
The FY05 BCRP Program Announcements for proposals in the following mechanisms are expected to be released in late February 2005 and include, but are not limited to:

Please Note:
The Innovator Award will not be offered in FY05. Because of its unique and prestigious nature, the BCRP plans to offer this award mechanism every other year, pending receipt of funds.
The Clinical Translational Research Award was last offered in FY03.
Detailed descriptions of each mechanism, evaluation criteria, submission requirements, and deadlines will be available in the FY05 BCRP Program Announcements. Each Program Announcement will be available for downloading from the CDMRP website upon its release in late February 2005.
