Department of Defense Breast Cancer Research Program for Fiscal Year 2003

The fiscal year 2003 (FY03) Defense Appropriations Act provides $150 million to the Department of Defense Breast Cancer Research Program (BCRP).

The FY03 BCRP will be releasing nine different funding mechanisms:

Application August 7, 2003
Clinical Research Nurse Award May 14, 2003
Historically Black Colleges and Universities/Minority Institutions Partnership Training Award Pre-Proposal April 3, 2003
Full Proposal August 7, 2003
Physician-Scientist Training Award May 14, 2003
Predoctoral Traineeship Award May 14, 2003
Postdoctoral Award May 14, 2003

Detailed descriptions of each of these mechanisms, evaluation criteria, and submission requirements will be available late February in the Program Announcement corresponding to that mechanism. Each Program Announcement will be available for downloading from the CDMRP web site (https://CDMRP.HEALTH.MIL). All applicants will be required to submit an electronic version of their proposal as a PDF (portable document format) file.
