Department of Defense Prostate Cancer Research Program for Fiscal Year 2004

The fiscal year 2004(FY04) Defense Appropriations Act provides $85 million to the Department of Defense Prostate Cancer Research Program (PCRP) to support innovative research directed toward eliminating prostate cancer. This program is administered by the US Army Medical Research and Materiel Command through the Office of the Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs (CDMRP).

The PCRP is releasing Program Announcements for ten different funding mechanisms in FY04. The Program Announcement name, its Program Announcement release date, and submission deadline are listed in the following table. Please note that eight Program Announcements are being released on November 24, 2003 and have a submission deadline of February 10, 2004. Detailed descriptions of all mechanisms, evaluation criteria, and submission requirements can be found in the FY04 PCRP Program Announcement corresponding to that mechanism. Each Program Announcement can be downloaded from the CDMRP web site (https://CDMRP.HEALTH.MIL) upon release. All applicants will be required to submit their proposals electronically as Portable Document Format (PDF) files.
