The Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology (ARVO) and the National Alliance for Eye and Vision Research (NAEVR) recently hosted a collective webinar to highlight vision research funding availability. The featured speaker was Q. Tian Wang, PhD, program manager for CDMRP’s Vision Research Program.

Dr. Wang discussed CDMRP’s current research funding opportunities, including FY20 VRP and other DoD research programs. She explained the history of CDMRP and the funding review process. In addition, she presented the challenges of military-relevant vision trauma care and VRP’s program priorities.
