Research Resources Initiative by the PH/TBIRP


In an effort to facilitate collaborations and advance research in the areas of psychological health and traumatic brain injury, the PH/TBIRP has compiled a list of various research resources related to our funded efforts. The lists display the available research resources with a corresponding link for more information. Award Number and PI information is provided for resources that are a direct result of PH/TBIRP funding.

  • Platform for TBI-relevant data sharing (neuroimaging, clinical, and behavioral data)
  • PH/TBIRP funded studies are now required to share data via FITBIR

Central Neuroimaging Data Archive (CNDA)

  • Management of neuroimaging and related study data, with automated pipelines for processing managed data and tools for exploring and accessing data by authorized users

Military Suicide Research Consortium (MSRC) Common Data Elements (CDE) Database

  • De-identified aggregate consortium study data that can be requested by qualified investigators (non-VA, including DoD who enter into a data use agreement (DUA), and VA who do not need a DUA)
  • VA’s SPRINT (Suicide Prevention Research Impact Network) program is now the custodian of the MSRC Database
